As Nush pointed out, my last journal is very last year! (lol, I love your avatar, dude. Despite all your rage!)

How is everyone? (lol, I'm probably asking this to an audience of two people!) After I finish writing this, I should read your journals to answer that question.

I'm pretty excited about Pumpkins' Zeitgeist (070707!), which I have been listening to non-stop. And oh. my. god. - it's awesome, rocking and so incredibly catchy!! It's a pleasant surprise cos I'm still not a big fan of Tarantula, but the rest of the album makes up for it. So far Doomsday Clock, Bring The Light, Neverlost and 7 Shades of Black stand out. I don't think Zeitgeist sounds much like the earlier albums, maybe a bit like their b-sides/soundtrack upbeat kind of songs like The End Is The Beginning Is The End. Maybe a tiny bit like Machina/Zwan. It's different, a good different!

I've also been listening to the Cure a lot recently. What a brilliant band, I don't think I've mentioned how much I like them in previous entries!! Wish is a fantastic album. I love the range of styles covered in their music - quirky, mellow, rocking and very emotional. I think they're touring Aus around August, but not in Berra or Sydney. Damn, I won't be able to go (easily that is) cos of work and uni ... stupid barriers!

Ooh, then there's Snow Patrol! They'll be in Berra in September which I'm looking forward to. I hope they play some gooood old stuff, too! Hmm, I hope Simple Minds tour again soon!

Uni starts on Tuesday ... I have two classes left (comp and psych - not accounting, but because of accounting work it'll be like have two accounting classes on the side, so I'll still have the normal full-time workload) and hopefully I can graduate at the end of this year.

Ooh, side note - Transformers looks very cool! I haven't seen it, but I will, one day! Doomsday Clock ... I used to love playing with transformers toys when I was a kid! I only remember the teevee show vaguely though! What a fun trip back into time it would be checking out the teevee series!! Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to HP#7 (sad that it'll be the last one ) - this time I will NOT casually glance at the last few pages and I will NOT go into any forums (spoiler or not)! Last time when I read #5 I took a very quick look at one of the last pages, and right in front of me there was this line about Harry thinking about Sirius' death. Gah! Then for #6 I went into a forum, telling myself I'd just look and not read - First thing I saw was "Omg, I can't believe Dumbledore is dead!". Movie #5 should be interesting, too.
